well, it's 20 here and it looks like a war zone... the main roads are good but my entire property is a thick sheet of ice covered with tree debris. Nothing like having to get out the chainsaw just to get to the chicken coop. We have power though so we're good... we actually lost power last night for about 4 hours. I had eggs in the hatcher and they got down to 80 degrees. I moved them in front of the fireplace and got them back up to 90... guess we'll see if any of them come through in the next couple days.
I'd wager your hatch will be fine seeing they only had a limited short term temp. drop, plus that close to hatch helps too I think.
I was pleasantly suprised how little damage we had this morning, considering how bad it looked last night. When I went to bed we had heavy ice covering everything, limbs hanging way down, and still raining. Luckily about the time the wind kicked up, the temp. did as well. That and I don't have any silver maples, chinese chestnuts, lombardi populars, or any of the major dropper trees helped. Still a bunch of ice on the ground, strictly sidewalk creeping around here for a while.
