sharpie emergency.... how do I get sharpie markers out of the couch?

My dog.. my sweet little dog....

and i must keep repeating that or else i will loose my mind....lol

My dog ate a sharpie marker on the couch while I was doing dishes, she grabbed it off the table and started chewing away.

I now have a blue mark about the size of a dime n the arm of my beige microfiber couch

Does anyone have any solutions for removing the ink stain?

Test your fabric before you try this, but finger nail polish remover might work. Remember to blot and rub towards the center of the stain.

My kids have taken a sharpie marker to my couch and I still haven't gotten it out yet. Nail Polish remover hasn't worked for me. ONce you find what does, please let me know....

TRY RUBBING ALCAHOL I remove sharpie marks with it but haven't used it on fabric. followed by a little drinking alcahol for you.
