I found my Blue Slate turkey tom outside of his pen the other day, so I put him back in. Later I noticed that he was limping very badly ( He limped a bit before) and was laying down alot. I also noticed that he had a feather sticking out at an odd angle. When I checked his wing ( and the feather), I found this..

Some of his wing feathers seem to be shattered. I'm thinking that while he jumped out of the pen he smacked his wings on the pen sides, and then fell on the other side and hurt his leg.
What do you guys think? What should I do?

Looks more like an animal attack to me. A lot of damage for hitting a fence and falling. Any dogs or coons in the area?

Yes we have a fox living close by ( Hes taken around 15 birds from me! ). The fox used to come by during the day..untin I shot him in the leg, now he only comes at night..or so I thought. I guess to made an exeption and desided to try something on my turkey!
