I don't know what's up with Gilbert. Every time I am outside and he sees me, he comes widdle waddling as fast as his stubby flippers can carry him, and right up to my feet. He follows me like a puppy, but aggressively, nipping at my toes or pant legs. I almost step on him the way he goes between my legs with his neck stretched out. Drakes. I know it's springtime and everything, Jasper doesn't do this, just Gil.
Anyone else's drake do this?

They're cuter when you see them in person A duckling will deal with you holding it and talking to it and might snuggle you. A gosling will run over to the edge of the brooder to see you, and will talk back to you when you talk to it. And then it will happily snuggle into you if you let it. Super, super cute. I have a brooder full of six tufted Romans right now and they are always so happy to see me.

You'd get two Geese gotta have a goose friend.

I raise the smallest domestic breed of geese. They are the largest birds I own (well, used to be, emus kinda win that title now) but still aren't overly large. My pekin is almost as big as them.
