Shaws call duck incubation thread (hatch a wonderful(worthless to Ralphie) dux thread)

Do you guys think these are ready to lock down? Looks like room left to grow in there. Could they be behind?

And here is the suspect egg. No movement but I could only see a few of them move. No clear veining like the others.

Any movement? But yes I’d say quitter. I’m hesitant to take them out. I took one out too early and thought it was dead when it wasn’t.:hit Heart wrenching for anyone other than Ralphie.

Thanks, that's good advice I'm sure. I guess it'll stay for now then. I do see some slight veins in the photo that I didn't see before. Think those others are ready to stop turning?

On a random note... have you ever seen such a fugly looking batch of chicks in your life?

Did I hatch road runners?

So ugly they are cute!

Off topic off topic! Back to ducks!
:gigit's ok. . I abandoned you all for a while anyway. Plus I love looking at Ralphies barred legs :lau

I set April 1st evening so I guess it's showtime.
:clapthe show must go on! :fl
Ok I'm rambling but now I have to finally decide about my iffy egg. I think it's a late quitter. Its got a small aircell despite sponging, I can't see veins, and there's some visible clear space in the shell.
I don't know. . it can be really hard to tell at the end. It is possible that one is farther along than the others. . maybe. Most I've had that looked like that didn't make it but I wouldn't toss it just yet.

I'm not sure what to think. . that does look like a lot of veins. Is there any draw down at all in the air cells?

I have one almost out. . one still unzipping and one strange looking small air cell one I put a safety hole in earlier today.

I've been gone so long setting up the broodr . . yacking on the phone with Jana. . doing chores. . texting duck chic like a crazy stalker. . and trying to pay my bills. My tablet would not power on so I had to call in all my bills :barnie
Then spent a half an hour with customer service trying to fix my tablet. :he
All in between pressing my nose to the incubator and wondering if I've finally lost my mind.

Progress! Can't wait to see them fluffed.

A couple eggs have some draw down but I didn't photo those. Maybe I'll just hand turn them tomorrow then raise humidity.
It probably wouldn't hurt anything to wait till tomorrow. . I don't think I would turn the ones that are drawn down though. I would Leave them with the drawn down side up.
