Shaws call duck incubation thread (hatch a wonderful(worthless to Ralphie) dux thread)

I think he watches them with one eye and me with the other, and as soon as he thinks I'm not watching him, he goes after them. I can usually just cut him off, and they hide behind me, but today I actually grabbed him right before he got ahold of Squirt. Put his little butt back in the duck pen and let the juvies forage a little longer. He paced the fence and tried to get out every time I went thru the gate. Horny little baztard. :gig
Naughty little round male duck. He needs a squeeze. He's smart that he knows you're watching or not and behaves accordingly.

I still can't seem to get to bed on time.
It's been nice outside so finally getting yard work done. .plus cleaning two brooder s daily. . and now caring for ones in the palace. . plus trying to make sure everyone gets some exercise time daily playing rotate the dux cause no-one can get along. .Howard can't be around any little ones. Or the grown calls he wants to kill them now that he has his girls he is territorial. Cayuga babies are terrified by the pastel babies. . Maggie and Lexi don't like Sofie babies. . :th

I'm with ya sista! Plus trying to build my coop addition.
Now Phoebe is staying on her eggs. In a very inaccessible spot.

Crazy here too. Trying to finish my coop expansion so I can build a duck house. Plus a million flower beds to deal with. On the other hand we were up into the 70s today. A real pleasure working outside in that!

Happy spring and baby season all!
