I don't think I could catch that duckling without causing major uproar with all the others. So I'm going to watch it for a few more days before I do anything.
Is gimpy duck molting at all? Its so odd, Bonkers is in full regular plumage, I think he must have had a very light early juvenile molt. But the dusky grey (I think I've named Earl Grey lol) is having a heavier juvenile molt, looks ragged, and still no drake feather. Only 11 days younger than Bonkers.
And I keep getting Jax confused with the young blue fawn female, its so funny. I was looking at her, thinking it was Jax, and she let out a big QUACK and I about dropped my coffee cup! LOL
Something else just occurred to me.... Squirt isn't showing any signs of molting either, and they are the 2 that I hatched inside and brooded inside for their first couple of weeks. The others were hatched outside. I wonder if that has anything to do with anything.
