No green iridescence at all. The other drake you see there is normal green colored, nothing like him. He's just finishing getting his color though, maybe it'll still happen. I suspect he is off color though.In the description there it said black with a green sheen. . is it green out in the sun?

He's a juvenile appleyard drake, so for right now his head is black/gray, and it will return to that color in eclipse, but when he molts into nuptial plumage it will probably go green.
