I had a catfish dang near throw me out of a flat bottom Jon boat once fish are strong!
The guys that set me up for that probably knew I had no idea how strong that fish would be.
They pitched it in the bottom of the boat and told me to hold it down with my feet. Uh huh.

Yeah that’s more of a marketing thing than actual useful feathers. They can be used but not worth the money to even feed them that long. The same amount of money could be spent buying the feathers with no added hassle of dealing with the roosters themselves.

I’m glad there isn’t a camera hovering around my back yard. Just last night going to lock the ducks up, carrying a gallon of water and an open container of cat food, stepped on the cat’s tail and fell, but dang if I didn’t hang onto that water and cat food. Just call me Grace!

Thanks to all this fly fishing talk, I just ordered 200 8mm and 10mm cork balls to reproduce a topwater bug called a Round Dinny.
They were made by Accardo Tackle Co out of Baton Rouge that is now out of business.
