Yeah but I don’t see that until I pluck all the feathers off of them. But see all chickens look like that under their feathers. That’s two copies of the NN gene, mine have one copy and a nice necklace of feathers
Well chickens are still livestock and not really pets anyway but gamefowl hens can be tamed down and made more calm than any chicken out there if raised with a lot of interaction.Gamebirds don’t make good pets though. Keep your neosporin and bandaids handy. I have a broody game hen who killed a giant rat
Ask Ralphie about psycho broody turkey hens.Well chickens are still livestock and not really pets anyway but gamefowl hens can be tamed down and made more calm than any chicken out there if raised with a lot of interaction.
A broody game hen will kill more than a rat. Cats, hawks and they’ll go after anything that gets too close. That makes them excellent mothers.
oh, ralphie's gonna get you bout them ducks lolI enjoy my ducks as pets mostly, but I still consider them a livestock animal. I like to be near them but I don't have to have them in my lap.
I have dogs and cats for snuggling.
What's new.oh, ralphie's gonna get you bout them ducks lol
