So after posting pics in Gender forum, it looks like I have a roo....which I can't keep.

When will they usually start crowing?
When does his comb get bigger?

His comb is actually pretty big already but will continue to grow for the next few months. As for crowing....it varies a lot but mine have mostly crowed for the first time around 16-17 weeks.

I have 4 BO that are 12 weeks old and their combs are nearly as big.... Ive been fearing that Ive got all boys... at least it looks like you have one She back there?!.... I have to get rid of all but one of mine. well.... my freezer does anyway. and soon.

Pity you cant keep him; he's beautiful! I love my buffs. Thankfully I accidently got a roo to go with my 6 pullets/hens!
