She just stands quietly

I've got an adopted hen of unknown age. I've had her about a year. She's lower on the pecking order in my flock of 13 hens, she gets a few extra head pecks from the others resulting in a slight loss of feathers, but nothing huge.

She's never been very social, often preferring to be by herself in the barnyard.

She had sour crop about two months ago, which I think has cleared up just fine.

Recently, she's been much more to herself. She slept with the goat and didn't roost with the others once or twice last week. When she's in the barnyard, she mostly just stands quietly. She doesn't peck much. I have seen her eating and drinking, but not much. I think she's pretty skinny - her breast bone is quite prominent when I pick her up.

Only other symptom is runny poop. I had to clean her butt in a warm water bath a couple of times in the past week.

I moved her into the house in a dog crate. She mostly just stands there. Sometimes she makes sweet clucking sounds.

My main question is: how would I know if she is in pain?

Should I just let her be? Maybe she's just getting old?

Thanks for any suggestions/support you can give.
