Thanks for your replies. We are getting a few more in the coop, we will avoid red sex links. Are there any other breeds that have similar reproductive issues?

All the high production hybrid birds(like sexlinks, which go by many names),
seem to be more susceptible to reproductive issues,
but that doesn't mean they all will have them.
.....and it can happen to any bird.
