Is fording a chicken to go broody always the right thing to do?
I don't know how you would force a chicken to be broody.
x2
I have never even heard of forcing a chicken to go broody being successful...

@WVduckchick @RavynFallen wow really, I put the liner in and raised the humidity and I didn't notice anything. this is my 2nd hatch attempt the first was a bust eggs were not fertile. From now on I keep the incubator closed?

Looks that way to me three!!!!I see a pip in the one just below the thermometer!
Amen!!! lolKeeping your bator closed depends on who you ask, lol... although if these are Calls, you may need to assist... Calls are notoriously hard to hatch due to short bills... sometimes they can't pip externally... keep your ear out for any internal pips that start getting quieter and don't break the shell...
Good eye!!!I see a pip in the one just below the thermometer!
Wv, your awesome! How exciting!!!@desiree210 See where I circled in red... that looks like a pip to me! Is the shell actually broken?? They normally zip in a counter-clockwise direction when looking at the big end, so this one should zip toward the top of the picture, up and around. It would likely hit it again, in a close spot to the first one, then rest, then continue. Do you have any idea if these could be Call ducks? I have never hatched Calls, but Ravyn has, but we will help you all we can!![]()
