@desiree210 See where I circled in red... that looks like a pip to me! Is the shell actually broken?? They normally zip in a counter-clockwise direction when looking at the big end, so this one should zip toward the top of the picture, up and around. It would likely hit it again, in a close spot to the first one, then rest, then continue. Do you have any idea if these could be Call ducks? I have never hatched Calls, but Ravyn has, but we will help you all we can!

Great tips and eye, WV!! @desiree210 patience is the key for Calls, if that's what they are... I had 1 sit for 3 days after pip cuz she hadn't absorbed all the yolk yet... if you have any vaseline and qtips, get them set out by the bator... if no vaseline, antibiotic ointment without pain reliever will work as well... or even coconut oil... you may need to lubricate their membranes to keep them from drying out...

Yes!!!! It's was great they were able to see and keep up with everyone.

Use warm (not hot or cold) water and DO NOT PLUG YOUR VENTS!!! They absolutely need oxygen flow...

If humidity won't stay up, add moist sponges... but keep the vents open...

Agreed with the sponges but I close one vent to help keep humidity level up. The lid has breather holes in it. I have the exact same model.

Are those pullet eggs she stole??? They are super tiny.

So exciting at hatch time, isn't it! Hatching calls is going to be an awesome experience. I love chicks but IMO, nothing is cuter then a tiny baby duckling! I'll probably take as many pictures as when my human babies were born. So precious.

And I got good news this evening...my eggs are in-transit!!!
So tomorrow I will check the tracking number a dozen times, re-calibrate my hygrometers and set up the incubators!

Little update on my lockdown. I looked in the window and the eggs are still there.

it is! They could be call ducks, I googled a pic they're were lots of them at the farm and tons of Pekin's. I'll be needing all the help I can get. My BYC pals are amazing I don't think I could of gotten this far without you all. No counting my ducks til they hatch. Lol I'm scared

These are more silkies, right?? I agree, nothing cuter than a baby duckling. Reeled me in, hook, line, and sinker!! But right now, my ducks are so standoffish, and my chicks are so much sweeter!

Are all of the eggs about the same size, except for the one you thought might be a goose egg? I'm just wondering if you have different species in there, you might have a long lockdown... but its all good!

I wondered about the blue also, so thanks for that clarification!

Good info since you have the same bator! She needs to keep that in mind if humidity is hard to keep up there.
