She said/He said Who's right? Who's wrong? No one!

blackbirds just said the same about dry incubation. I just can't do it. Amy would never let me hear the end of it :he
Might as well candle every day...
And assist....
Maybe we should do parades at 50% for BCM :gig

I set mine, no water... candle somewhere from 10-14 days... pull clears... candle on day 18 and stick them in the hatcher... easy peasy... :D

I'm probably going to do it. It's all trial and error for me. I'm setting again tomorrow or Thursday. Right now, dry, my Octagon runs around 28%. You think that's worth a shot?

Got ya beat... first hatch of Calls... every single one is a drake, lol...

I almost wish all 4 of mine had been drakes... Poor Juicy... Going to be sad to separate them...

Drakes are quiet, ducks(hens) are LOUD, lol... especially Calls... the girls can scream...

Drakes are definitely more quiet, but they talk a lot more!! But I swear, my hens have been the loudest lately... just starting to lay, it sounds like they are being murdered!

Sounds about what mine runs... flockin' ambient humidity here is horrendous... getting below 30 at all is a miracle, lol...

What humidity does Blackbirds consider dry?

Ambient humidity at my house can often be below 10%. No water sounds like a death sentence to me!
