Congrats on the first egg from the Easter hatch! There's a funny picture somewhere on BYC of someone that got hit in the face with blue kote flecks - she had blue freckles all over her face!
Well you can't say you weren't warned!![]()
Good tip on the Lava though. I'm glad something worked!
And congrats on the egg, sorry they ate it! That's just so wrong of them!!
Sure it does. It'll correct your spelling and say "Did you mean...." lolgoogle don't do any good if you can't spell believe me I know.
No one forwarned me that they might shake their head like a dog...lol First application did great. Not a drop anywhere it wasn't supposed to be. I had my gloves on went perfect. Todays I sat him on my lap, had my gloves on, dabbed it ever so gently on his head, making sure it dodn't run into his ear this time and all of a sudden he shakes himself sending it everywhere....lol Good thing we were outside. I totally was not expecting that....lolwe all warned you spot
Congrats all the way around!!Surprise! I came home to 2 eggs in the nest box! You know what that means? At least one of my silkies is female!! The only other possibility is a 16-week old LO, so I'm betting on the silkie that was squatting for me, Molly, or both!
Also stopped on my way home and picked up my Brinsea. Found a few extra goodies in the bottom of the box. A couple nice thermometer/hygrometers and a scale, so I'll test them for accuracy tonite.
Happy day!![]()

That is too cool!! I would have had to take a pic too!Well we had a visitor in our house this morning. I was out in the coop going over where everything was with my neighbor, when I heard my husband yelling for me to come get the dogs. (Dogs were barking their heads off) He came out the front door and said there was a rattlesnake in the house! Dragged the dogs to the back part of the property, and ran to get the extension pole that had a paint roller on the end. I propped the back screen open and DH herded it out through the sun room to the back yard. (OK, after getting on my case because I stopped to get a picture!)
Then we noticed it didn't really have a rattle, although it sounded like it and was twitching his tail. It was a 4 1/2 foot Bull Snake. Scooted it into an empty trash can and took him to the end of the street to go on his merry way.
Now my Border Collie refuses to go anywhere near the sun room and won't go in and out the back door. Oh well. They did a good job keeping the snake at the door to the sun room so it didn't end up under the furniture or under the bed!

How funny you must lookI'm just a beard and ears
That little fella has a lot of personality. Even if he is not the perfect bird, he will probably wind up with some Ameraucana hens to make Olive EggersThe Brinsea team, yes. Blue team, not likely!![]()
Too adorable! I love the furry feet!
Uh oh, I see your beard too...![]()

Our externals and Desktops are so full of pics and music. I have a serious problem. New hard drives only enable me.Hi,
This is a funny thread![]()

One thing I did is back up my crappy phone pictures on an external hard drive , put your pictures on the desk top then plug the hard drive in and transfer pictures over . Then you can clear your phone off and start again![]()

Miracle is hanging in there. I gave her a couple of drops of nutri drench last night at bed time. She is no longer gasping. She had her butt washed. Tried eating a bit. Peeping along to Bette Middle at the moment. She is nestled with her friend.
She has started to walk about a bit. Not out of the woods yet though.
I got my gloves out to reapply a little of the blue kote to Elvis, got him out, dabbed his head and he decided to do the wet dog shake.....all over me. needless to say I was in a t shirt and shorts. Looked like I had blue pox. I discovered Lava soap works real well removing it-even after it was dry.
Well.......I am queen of exclamation marks!!!
I guess It's hot every where I hatched 22 yesterday all but 2 doing well lost my phone with the camera . found it late last night maybe pictures latter.
