I'm not sure how I ended up in an office instead of a boxing ring. :) I love the type on this hen and she is a good example of the bay eye color. I sure hope so. I didn't even get to look at them this am. Picked them up, got them settled, off to work. I love the penguin look on them. Great looking chicks. What line are you working with and where did you get them? BTW, Julie was a pleasure to work with and had very good prices for the quality of stock.

Scots Irish, English, German and Danish... yup, I'm a mutt... :D Bev Davis and Wade Jean lines from Jean Blancato at Macoping Farm, NJ... she had just gotten a blue copper pair when she sent me the eggs... those chicks were hatched from shipped Marans eggs... actually got 7 outta 9 on those... :)

Ok. Got one egg that started pipping at around 2pm. On Average, how long between the start of pipping and full zip? Sorry anxious first timer here....
