.you all have heard me say my son has autism he's 22 and looks just like his uncle Ron my brother that died double heart break there any way last week he said mommy for the first time. that was a great day . Ben is for the most part nonverbal but has a laugh that lights up the world . he' the main reason I have stayed self employed . when things are going wrong with work I don't get upset because everything I run into can be fixed with time and money . while one part of my life is very hard .that part makes the rest seem so easy. enjoy Friday and all that comes with it we have sunshine today
BYC: My hubby says, "Everybody has a story to tell." Thank you so very much for telling a bit of your story. When we share our stories, it puts the trivial every day stuff into perspective. Because, when it gets right down to it, what's more important than people? I bet Ben does have a wonderful laugh, because it's a universal language that is understood by everybody. His next word will be Daddy!
That sounds awesome in my book. Keep looking and find the right one. We looked for a few months, but still kept coming back to the same one. But I know it will work out in the long run for you too. And you got a 100 mile bike ride to boot? Sounds like a great evening!
We just watched "Hot Pursuit" with Reese Witherspoon, I have not laughed out loud that hard in a long time! Well, at least without SC around!![]()

Congrats on all the hatching going on!
We took the bikes and rode out past the house, and a few more as well. Ran 100 miles there, around, and back.
If the 13 acres that are not mowed are dry enough for good pasture/hayfield, then it looks like we may have found our house. The branch of the river, which is a stream at this point, is about 10' wide and a foot deep with a gravel bottom and some brook trout, crayfish and minnows just seen from the road bridge. A couple of weeping willow trees overhang a bend, and there is a small patch of trees to offer shade for cattle and horse as well as provide a few sticks of firewood.
The barns are rougher than they looked in the pics, and may serve for a season before I build a nice, dry pole barn.
The listing says two car garage, but the residents have half a dozen cars and trucks scattered on the driveway, so I am thinking not.
Deer EVERYWHERE. Muskrat too.
Miles and miles of dirt back roads for my riding pleasure.
This could work...
I can't Ovate again... but this deserves at least a 100...![]()
I took a very quick candle this evening. Just day 4 so I didn't get any out, just shined on a few in the bator, and I saw some veining already!![]()

GNO was a no show lol
I have a report. My girls must be very happy with their new accommodations. I have had 8 eggs from the 8 girls almost every day since the move. The 2 soft ones on the second day, and I think one other day, I only had 7, so I'm very proud of them! They look happy and healthy.
As far as the boys, Big Guy has taken lead and I have seen him run after Punkin several times when Punkin tries to mate one of the girls. Big Guy finds food for them, guards them while they eat, and he escorted them to the coop last night, it was so cute. Punkin still runs around like a horny teenager. But otherwise, they seem to get along all fine.
Sorry for another long multi-quote.
awesome!! I always check on day 4 because that's when I can see veins!
Will do!
What are you planning on doing with all those eggs?
