Wow, yea lucky me. I made it to the end without too many more posts lol!
Neat experience tonite. Neighbors came over to sit outside and watch "the kids" as we call the chickies. The neighbor lady and me work together also. But they know nothing about chicks, etc. So now I have gotten her to let the ducks feed out of her hand... Its so cool. And brought her inside and we candled eggs. Only 5 days, but she was amazed at the veining! It was way cool for me to share that with someone who knows nothing about it.
Otherwise, hubby and I started building a grow-out coop for the little guys, to put in the grow-out pen. This is in preparation of the ones in the incubator. The 5-week old LO's are loving the grow out pen, but go to the gate at dark... They wanna go home to their baby coop lol
And I have deduced that 3 of my 10 LOs are probably roos. Still not positive yet, but that's my best guess so far.
They should be about 9 weeks now. Is that awkward teenage years of braces and tripping over feet?
