She said/He said Who's right? Who's wrong? No one!

damp rid will do it but for me It was to much trouble . what it is though is calcium chloride in a small container. they don't fit in a small incubator. you can buy a Qt. at home depot in the pool chemical department for nine dollars it really drinks up the humidity though . I don't think the cost is worth the hassle of using it. I really don't think 41 % humidity is to high .
You should have been yelling Saturday, too. Killing OK in the first half. Totally dominating. Then fall apart and lose by a touchdown.

Ahhhhh, my favorite time of year

Are you still hatching every weekend?

yes but my last two have been really bad 6 out of 18 and 6 out of 20 . had a couple of heat spikes . my change to mid week . I'm working weekends now . well Fi Sat Sun.I take care of Ben the rest of the week . so I'll be working when my GlW roos fist chicks hatch. hope to sell a bunch of chickens this weekend .If I can get them sorted and ready.

I dont think the ones I buy from the dollar store will fit in the incubator. Could I put a dehumidifier in the room?

I forgot about the 41% humidity. Not counting the BCM, that is the humidity I always shoot for, and usually hatch at 85%+

And for ducks, 41% should be fine.  Check the air cells at day 7, or 10, and you would still have time to adjust if necessary.

The AH runs around say 80% down here, no getn away from it unless the weather clearsnit out for us. I was scared my humidity was too high, running between 40-60% this whole incubation.

Thank God im very math/logic brained and i did weight calcuations behind my set-- the math average says im on par, and the aircells are growing at what im told is normal rate. SO-- at this time even though my dry incubation is higher himidity than yours, i am lettin her jus do her thing...

Remember where my pens are now?

Sweet! Get to use the new plucker!

I was born at 7k feet. I say bring on the cold!

I'm looking need to hatch a new rooster . I could go back where I got mine but I want a different line .mine did a lot for the hens I have and hate it never got him with the three best ones .all my starter flock except those three will leave soon .I may have some gold silver crossed next weekend . wonder what they will look like . as soon as that flock is gone I'll breed the best one of his sons to them . I got a little crossed up with my coops .ended up with those three in the GLW coop. SLWs are very aggressive towards newbies in their coop .
I think you are on your way to blue laced reds aren't you? Do you have any pics of your SLWs?

@sideWing wondering how old your meats are now?
