She said/He said Who's right? Who's wrong? No one!

I still don't see the huge deal about why it has to be so secretive. We all know who has been here and who hasn't. We know, for the most part, who has what. If a bunch of new people show up and start trying to mooch, you guys will get plenty of laughs when I start

I thought part of the fun of it was going to be watching the deals being made. I never said those 2 dozen would be all I'm doing

Oh yeah, I guess I did

Friday has almost terrified me into a 3rd

There's nothing secretive about what anyone has to offer, or what others want. The list was basically to gather willing participants, and get an idea of what is available. For example, I don't think I ever looked at Russian Orloff's before, but I love Friday's birds!!

Obviously nobody wants to broadcast their names/addresses, so that's the part I was meaning to keep private between the shipper/receiver. And if someone wants to charge/pay, then I think those deals should be worked out individually.

The Little Giant Still-Air Incubator Model 9200 is a tried-and-true way to incubate and hatch eggs. I tried, that's true
Durable Styrofoam retains warmth, generated by a gentle(erratic) heating element controlled by a highly undependable, solid-state thermostat. The thermostat can be easily adjusted at small increments to suit varying environments assuming your environments are Antarctica or Death Valley. Built-in moisture channels allow the addition of water to the bottom of the incubator to help maintain humidity, a key factor in egg health. (Not Included, needs replaced from hardware store,)

The water channels aren't included? Mesh screen safely supports eggs during hatch period, keeping your chicks at the optimal elevation to walk into the whirring blades of death. Two 4 in. x 8 in. viewing windows allow for monitoring the hatching process and are great for educational purposes such as teaching children that all chicks aren't cute, fluffy, happy little bundles of joy. Teach them the cruelty of life at a young age. Get 'em ready. Holds 59 large chicken eggs or up to 100 small chicken eggs when used with the Little Giant

Automatic Egg Turner if you stack them tightly on top of one another and duct tape the lid shut. This product is intended for general poultry hobbyists and is not recommended for professional or commercial use or for incubating exotic birds, such as chickens or ducks.

you rock!

You get a Golden Feather when you buy the membership. I did that several months ago, to get rid of the ads! But thanks for finally noticing!

I did just change my avatar pic, so that's probably why you just noticed it. Isn't that little golden girl adorable?!
That golden girl is totes adorbs. I think that's what the kids call it nowadays.

Don't you know you'll need to be nice to others with those so you have access to new bloodlines???

FB closed groups work pretty well, but I'm open to other ideas.

That's true, I don't have many chickens, and they are all unproven. Still willing to share though, if anyone is interested in what I have next year.

Unfortunately, I don't have room for too many new ones either.

Still will be fun to watch from the sidelines if that's what happens!

I'm in the same boat. I don't have much room for too many new ones, but I am willing to contribute. Or just to watch. I realize I am newer to the thread, although after reading most of it, I feel like I've been around longer than I really have been.

You mean you aren't going to post your address on the thread for me to send you eggs? It would be nice if BYC had a way to send messages privately...
