he knows what the silkies sold for right . from where I sit boys are good they sell for more . noting wrong with setting eggs as long as they are the right eggs. don't think I'm going to have time to sell this weekend .if you go see what kind sell for the highest prices . people around like some breeds better than others.

We'll be going and will let you know how prices go on what... he's more happy about having an outlet for culls than he cares about how much $ they bring... but I will be concentrating more on the better selling ones, lol...

Hubby already built me a 16 foot long by 3 ft high by 4 ft wide biddie pen with a brooder box and light. So I got that covered. He's working on another pen for me now and by spring he will have me a big 4 run built for my big breeds. I can't wait

don't know If the rain keeps up may not be able to work tomorrow my customer hasn't called to say if they staked the house yet . so I'm up in the air again . It just poured down here . and the temp dropped like ten degrees . I'm going on N.W.S. to check national radar to see how much more is coming . all I need is more rain.

45 mins if I'm driving... prolly less than half an hour if he is, lol...

Hunker down and hang on to your butts... I lived in Tornado Alley for 17 years... just gotta stay safe and ride it out... good luck...

I loved up in the Midwest and tornadoes are an old hat...scary but dealable. I also loved through earthquakes on both coasts. Some out near the L.A San Diego area and then several in rapid succession in Stafford VA back in (i want to say) 2011-2013 timeframe.
Hurricanes are another notch on the belt I guess. We've had the backlash from being within the ring of the hurricane 3x now in 4 years.
I much prefer ice storms and snow...although the shorter duration of hurricanes is nice compared to 8 months of winter and lakefront snow....
