She said/He said Who's right? Who's wrong? No one!

You don't like clowns? I've heard/read about lots of folks who don't like them at all, but I've never understood why. Of course, I grew up with Clarabelle on the Howdy Doody Show; maybe that's why they don't bother me.
I've hated clown ever since I saw Stephen King's IT. Ever since then I've been terrified of clowns.

The ones I've had that looked that way eventually quit. I hope that's not your case. :(
That's what I was afraid of. Some of them look better today than they did the last couple times I candled, the veins look like they are thickening up. Alot of the wispyness is gone and bigger veins are in their place. All of the cheaper 1's looked like that yesterday though. The more expensive 1's I can't really see in the shell enough to see if the veins look wispy like that, I don't think they do though.

Interesting that the next set of pics is the same egg from different sides. I agree the side with the writing on it looks good. Its really just a waiting game...
Its also interesting to me that your 2 sets of the same kind of eggs are so different. What day are you on now?

I know, I thought the same thing, it makes me wonder if the 1st breeder didn't lie to me, the thing is the Icelandics are so widely varied and different that you can't tell if they are pure or not just by looking at them. But these eggs are so different from 1 another. I set them really late Sunday before last so... right now it's day 10, tonight at 11 will be day 11.

Our farm has been doing the manure relocation too. I told my hubby that the birds must think we're awfully strange creatures. We play with their poo, moving it from coop to compost to be stirred and moved again and we steal their eggs. If that is all the interaction they notice from us, how odd we must seem to their society!
