She said/He said Who's right? Who's wrong? No one!

As they approach POL, he'll see them as a big target with a red bulls eye dead center!

That selectively deaf gene appears quite often in humans.  Most often shows up in juveniles, and males, and is found on the same chromosome as the "ask for directions" gene.

You're diving in awful fast girl!  I'd suggest that you get the eggs you've got going through the brooder stage and then look at adding an other breed in the spring.  You're going to need separate housing for all of your exotic breeds, unless you want to end up with a barn yard mix.

Re: duck eggs... absolutely positive that the hatch date is calculated correctly for the species???
Yeah, that's what I was thinking of doing, waiting til spring. I know I'm getting some CLB eggs and EE eggs in the spring, that'll give my husband time to build a couple more coops and pens and maybe an outside brooder. I was just wondering if y'all have had any experience with Javas and if theyre easy to take care of.

Now that's not totally true men do ask directions . I left my nephew's house to go to the sale barn to pick up my ck. I went the way I knew going there . My nephew lives half between two towns . and the highway he lives on is named for the town I was going to . so dumb old me . asked the people at the sale barn would it be quicker to go back that way or what was the best way to get to where he lived . not a person there even knew how to get to that highway. and this was in the town they lived in . they all told to go back the way I came . which I was sure was the longest of the two . and of course found my own way and it was quicker. don't trust GPS their wrong most of the time .ask any old man and we'll set you straight .

Lol.

Why did the Moses and the Israelites wander the desert for 40 years?

Because even back then men wouldn't stop to ask directions.

they did ask but they had upset god so were being taught a lesson. and if the people they did ask were as dumb as the ones I asked .might as well take star sighting and chart a course .

That's why I never ask for directions, everytime I do nobody knows where I'm talking about and if they do they give me the wrong directions and I end up getting more lost than I was to start with.

Never ask for directions in the vicinity of the place you're trying to find. I made that mistake in DC many years ago. I found a guy in a parking garage, gave him the address I was looking for, and was told I was on the wrong end of town. Over an hour later, when I finally found the address, I was on the opposite side of the same building where I'd asked directions.

Yep, sounds about right, lol

They did but that was many years later (Christmas to the rest of you heathens). Lol
Did I see you mention a while back that you have RIR's?
I may be looking for a new rooster when I'm able to drive again (long, sad story), and don't really want to go the shipped route.
May even be inclined to get a few chicks, instead; haven't decided yet.
