She said/He said Who's right? Who's wrong? No one!

I'm a chicken-a-holic and I have to know my limits. When I started this I thought egg color discrimination would help limit my choices. Some of the most interesting, beautiful, and expensive birds lay white eggs. Fortunately or unfortunately for my addiction, chickens breed. So I'll have olive eggers next year too

Should I say heck yeah or he'll yeah? I've wanted one of those too, but I think the hens lay white eggs which is a disqualification for my farm.

You know that if you just get a rooster and breed him with a hen that lays colored eggs that those babies will just lay colored eggs. White eggs always take the color hats dominant in the gene.

Yeah agreed about candling. Maybe you can get one and cross it with a colored egg layer, create one with horns and colored eggs. Maybe call it a Mardi Gras?
That's actually a good name.I don't know really, I've just always preferred brown eggs for some reason. I know they all taste the same but I just love brown eggs, lol. They come in all shades too. Whereas white only comes in... white :/
