She said/He said Who's right? Who's wrong? No one!

K, so I checked that egg again and he's still alive but something is wrong. He's still in the same spot and hasn't moved. It looks like he's stuck to the shell. And I checked the turner, it's still working. Have y'all ever heard of an embryo getting stuck to the shell even while it's being turned?

That's actually a good name.
I don't know really, I've just always preferred brown eggs for some reason. I know they all taste the same but I just love brown eggs, lol. They come in all shades too. Whereas white only comes in... white

Well, white & poo, anyway

Yes.

Well I lost another egg, possibly 2, not positive about the 2nd one yet but there's no movement whatsoever. There's still veins but they look like their receding. There's no blood ring forming yet but I'm sure there will be. I'm pretty sure it's quit also but I'm giving it a fighting chance just incase.

Is this more of the "cheap" eggs? Hows the one you posted a picture of looking now? (I know you candled it again ;))

And I'm as bad as you with different breeds. I want a few of them all! :D

Wondering about Ravyn's Burn also. :pop

That egg still looks excellent on 1 side and even worse on the other. The embryo is very active too so I don't know what to think about that 1.
ETA: There's still atleast 5 more breeds I want but I think it'll be a while before I get all of those. And yes I would love to have a few of each breed ever made but I'm only working with 6 acres and a limited cash flow, lol
Sorry, had to edit again, lol. No the 1 I lost this time was 1 of the expensive 1's. The other 1 that I thought had quit too is 1 of the cheap 1's though. He didn't quit though, he's still alive but something is really wrong.

Who or what is Blobbly? Lol.

Lol. Blobby was one of my eggs that unfortunately didn't make it. There was a dark spot on the side (inside) of the shell that didn't move, even though I could see the chick moving occasionally. Amy named him Blobby :) If you search this thread, you'll find pics. It was in June. I think it was a frizzle because I could actually see feathers through the shell. But it quit very late. :(
