how old are they?

six days . to much going on to post much . went to the sale today met Ravyn there . I'm tired Rayn goes nonstop.

So, I'm playing around with humidity now, while the eggs are resting and so can't get messed up

Totally dry gives me around 30%. One well filled gives me around 40%. Both filled gives me around 50%. Each time I put more water in, I give it 4-5 hours before I checked the humidity, so I don't think I'm checking too soon. Do you think if I bought a sponge and cut it to stick out of the wells, that that would bring it up enough for lock down?

So very true... I laughed cuz that was something I would do... give me something super complicated and difficult to master and I am good... make it simple and easy and my brain falls out...

I have read different suggestions on when to start turning shipped eggs, ex. 3 days and even 7 days after arrival. Just wondering what do y'all do?

Sponges might help, but what worked for me was a double layer of paper towels going from in one channel to the other - so I had a big surface area in between to release water.

Of course, I live in the high desert so have to be a bit aggressive to get good humidity, even with the humidity pump.
