She said/He said Who's right? Who's wrong? No one!

Not sure; I always bought mine from wholesalers. You might try Ebay, or you might go to Ollie's & buy one of their blue tarps with grommets already in it; they're relatively cheap, and you should get a couple years out of it 'til UV  or wind wrecks it.

I wonder if they make clear tarps? I was hoping to get something that let the light in and was see through, which is why I originally went with the plastic. But it's driving me crazy with its insistence on falling off the run at the slightest provocation, lol.

Never seen a clear tarp; don't mean they don't exist, though. You're subject to heavy snow loads there, as we are, to a lesser degree, but, depending on how your run's constructed, you might could use clear corrugated fiberglass panels. Or you could do what SC did & use the tin panels of the same design, & intersperse a fiberglass panel or two for light.

I feed it to my ducks, they were previously on the starter grower with my chicken chicks anyway, for the higher protien.

So is it just store bought pellet feed, homemade feed or scratch?

I would think that ducks would love it.  I don't know if you'd want to make it a bit more soupy for them, given their penchant for wanting to swish everything down with water.  You'd have to experiment with consistency to find what they'd be happiest with.

let the experiments begin!

You'll have to post new pics of those BLRW's, congrats!!!

I feel your molting pain... I refuse to count, but I think we're somewhere between 100+ to 200 and we got a whopping 7 eggs today...

Our newbies are doing great, the new Calls are laying like crazy and so is Lady Grey... Ohiki are awesome little troublemakers, lol...

And this big of a butt... (especially for winter brooding ducklings)

That's a pretty big butt. Our butt's almost as big, but it's only chicken butt. I imagine duckling butt is a bit more challenging. Fixing to candle them for the first time.

@sumi
Forgiven, and many thanks for all your hard work and giving us a place to hang out and feed our addiction!
x2 Mods are always appreciated.

Someone forgot to build the ramp when they built the coop. Tina was very patient

Great with windows, the ramps. . . not so much.

I may be able to do that, I think it was 1 mil if I'm remembering correctly. Do you think I would be able to find grommets locally or would I need to get them online? I never thought of adding my own grommets, thanks!

Redneck grommets, fold duct tape over both sides on the edges and center zip ties in it... or cut circles outta milk jugs, etc and glue to both sides of plastic with holes in middle...
