She said/He said Who's right? Who's wrong? No one!

I will be out of town through all of the "normal" lockdown, and since it isn't essential to turn in the last week, I moved the eggs to the hatcher early. That gives me time to stabilize it before I go, as my at-home helpers are not allowed to touch anything while I am gone other that squirting a little water into the sponge tray daily until zipping starts.

I do admit that with all the challenges I've had with turkeys, it does bother me that I won't be here for the days I expect the pip and hatch, especially with the monster egg. On the good side, not being here will prevent my meddling.

I also expect them to pip on the 9th and hatch on the 10th as my cabinet was running a bit warmer and the air cells are bigger. As long as they stay moist, they should do as well as the chicks that just went through there.

There is also a third row of eggs off screen to the right. I think I will shift the camera.

How Ya been, lazy?
Way too busy. Working too many hours. Ferrying grand child back and forth to school every day, trying to finish up veggy garden and flower garden, and tending 3 flocks, getting ready for trip to Guatemala... Still working on planting trees in concrete clay. Weather not cooperating. But, life is good.

I'm in too!!!

Look what I found in my bator! Little guys pretty tired out. His toes look a little curled, hoping they aren't. He's from my silkie, but he doesn't look it...lol.

1 down, 19 to go....
