I have spent the first 3 days of the new year expanding my coop. Wonder what that says about me.:D

Love it! Nice improvement!

Look at it this way... You are in good company because we are all in the same boat! :gig

I froze my toes off starting a new pen today. :)

This is the back side of my woodshop. The duck pen is on the front side. The current coop (which was originally supposed to be temporary, comes off the end of the building, under the green tarp now). The plan is to split this down the center for the two groups, coops against the building wall, gates on the low end.
Still not definite of interior layout. Gotta get metal roofing ordered.
Its only like 40 degrees today, my toes are frooooozzzzen! But its a good start for the next dry warmish day.

I like the duplex design. One of my coops is like that, and so is the new juvie pen

I said I wasn't going to do any chicks this winter, but now it looks like GFF is having a 20 percent off sale :th Guess who's ordering some ayam cemanis? I'm waiting till the very end of their sale so I can get another paycheck and also so that it's at least halfway through January when they arrive. At least by the time they outgrow the brooder it should be starting to warm up...

Brave soul. Teach them how to tunnel in snow just in case.
