She said/He said Who's right? Who's wrong? No one!

Couldn't get much to flake off, but it was just black when I smeared it with my fingernail. No appearance of blood or anything. And I also looked better and don't see any lesions or bumps under the scabs. More like chapped skin.

That really does sound more like mites... what you got for bug treatment stuff?

Um.... nuttin?

Gotta get feed tomorrow though, so I'll find something. Thank you bunches :hugs

I'll send you a PM... welcome, hon... :hugs

Have I read somewhere, that you can use seven dust?

Not for mites... mites are too close to eyes/beak area and the dust is not effective around the head due to them being susceptible to respiratory issues...

Sevin is good for lice...

Gently, and just a little bit, I would try it...
His ear cover looks 'dirty' here... that to me is a sign of mites, but could be wrong...
Not treatable, but not usually high mortality... give vitamins and electrolytes to supplement and help them ride it out...
Where is Ross she just went through this she is the expert on this

what I just read Fowl pox starts out as white spots and then turn yellow and then black . let pull that site back

There you are! :hugs did you see the pics? Before and now? No white spots. Never had the white spots.
So mites or frostbite are my best guess for now.

Ever looked in a dogs ear that had bad ear mites? It really looks a lot like that... :/

No, not really. Never had that problem over years and years of owning dogs.
