There you are! did you see the pics? Before and now? No white spots. Never had the white spots.
So mites or frostbite are my best guess for now.
No, not really. Never had that problem over years and years of owning dogs.

I dealt with a lot of rescues... seen some seriously nasty stuff on neglected animals...

if I'm reading this right it's animals by demand media said use 2 teaspoons of sulfur powder to one cup petroleum jelly. salve Terramycin one tablespoon per gallon dry pox is rarely fatal

Yes, and after looking at him closer, he doesn't have those round spots, so I'm gonna get the dust stuff tomorrow and go from there. Sorry, didn't mean to revive a hatching thread with a chick issue Oh, time to go candle some quail eggs....

Ok, here's a hatching topic. My black rooster isn't getting the job done. Candled last night, and over half of his eggs are clear
I'm hoping it's because he was the bottom rung on the ladder for so long, but both incubators have many clears, mostly his. If he doesn't improve before one of his sons grow up, he may be a cull

have seen ear mites in a dog a little different but close in color inside a dogs ear is more moist though don't think it is pox but they can get other comb issues caused by fungus can't re member the name and don't think that is it .on a horse they call it deer fungus but the same thing . problem is most fungicides do damage to the eyes and are the most dangerous chemicals out there . captan is what we would for the horses . it is for fruit trees . one table spoon per gallon never spray or get in the eyes yours or theirs apply with a sponge or cloth . I can't stress how dangerous this stuff is the damage to the eyes is not reversible safety glasses a must and rubber gloves .
