She said/He said Who's right? Who's wrong? No one!

I've done my fair share of shipped eggs and done lots of research on the best methods for shipped. If you need any advice for them, please don't hesitate to ask. What's your plan so far for them?
Do you suggest marking the box with "Eggs", "Fragile", and or "Live Embryos"?

The best shipped hatch I ever had was from an unmarked box. The seller wouldn't even mark the box because so many "fragile" boxes had been destroyed. Curious what your experience has been.

You got my notification!? I didn't see anything. I also had to copy paste her bride comment, BYC would not quote her.

Yep, but BYC wasn't giving me MY notifs! :gig

BYC hates Amy :gig
It doesn't even do that to Lamey

I mark mine Fragile and This End Up only... otherwise I would leave unmarked... has worked well so far... @chicapee and Casey got excellent hatch rates out of them... :)

It doesn't. It tries to shut me up more than SC, and that's bad!!

I have heard that over and over again with shipped eggs.

It's hard to say because I've had mixed results. I really think so many things factor into how each, specific, box arrives. Time of year, holidays, workers, areas of the country the box travels through. I've had good hatches on boxes that were not marked and I've had good hatches on boxes that were marked. I can say, that I don't think they handle them any better (or worse) if they are specifically marked as hatching eggs.

I shipped some to a lady and she said they all look great, packaging was good, box was not damaged, but that the air cells seem to be detached. I'm not sure how normal that is.

That's good to know. Any difference between shipping USPS or UPS that anyone knows of?

Detached is very normal... try putting an egg in a sock and spin it around a few times... scrambled in the shell... :/

I do not recommend going UPS... 1, only USPS will honor any claims from damaged boxes containing hatching eggs... 2, my brother has been a UPS driver for over 25 years and he even said do not do it...
