She said/He said Who's right? Who's wrong? No one!

Sorry folks. Came home after work, dog hopped in my lap, and we dozed off. Went back to the hospital, hubby had another procedure done to remove more fluid, seems to have helped, but the nights always seem to be worse. So we'll see :fl

Sorry to hear this! Glad to hear he's on an upswing! :hugs

@RubyNala97
  I read the article and loved every bit of it.  It makes perfect sense.  I'm so glad you guys are here. <3

Yes!! I'm glad!! It sounded good to not turn and heal the air cell but the results were not the best with that method. Better results with tilting sooner, even if the air cell is damaged.

I should have bubbies again in the next few days - it looks like it's around 20 days since the 2 hens that are sitting at the min went broody. Depending on how this hatch goes that will just leave 2 hens that have not raised a clutch since begining of dec.

Good luck to your girls! I have my first broody on day 17! :fl

So of course your post is missing but I wanted to comment on the weather. Woke up to snow this morning and cold! I've got chicks I need to move out...I hope you're right and it warms up!!

This was great!! And believable. I get people all the time asking for auto-sexed silkie chicks.

Hmm well auto sex silkies might be hard, but you could breed sexlink, it would just take about 7 -11 generations to get the 2 parent colour strains fixed in line. It something I might think about if I can get some success with my lavander meat sizzles I'm working on.

I think their cousin emailed me last fall... :/

I'm not sure about chickens but I think I could litter train turkeys.  All I'd need is a litter pan within striking distance of the waterer, and under the roost.

And a towel over the shoulders...

96% hatch one very late dis. Very happy with the coolerbator and fertility. Now to ascertain weather Jacob knows what he is doing.

Go Jacob!!! More poults!!! :celebrate

According to our forcast, once we get past this weekend we are supposed to be moving toward above freezing and the 40-50's by the end of the week. I hope they are right. Hopefully 50's and 60's by the time you ship the eggs!!! Getting so excited...oh and by the way, can you send two eggs that are going to be roos and the rest all girls......lol

No, just silkies for me and people really wish you could tell the sex at hatch and I have to respond that silkies are one of the hardest breeds to sex!
