She said/He said Who's right? Who's wrong? No one!

I am trying the radical approach with shipped eggs of putting them right in the incubator and starting to turn. The Appenzeller Spitzhaubens did fine with this, I'll candle Ravyn's and Frmboy's this weekend. All have air cell damage, some eggs worse than others.

Walnut, I think that's a great thing to try, and I'll probably do the same thing next time.

Had one quit the other day with a ruptured air cell. The membrane grew as far as it could, but it wasn't enough. Nothing I could have done would have changed that outcome.

In my opinion, nothing I've done has made any difference in shipped eggs, the healthy ones make it, the damaged ones don't.

I think that sums it up really well! :thumbsup

Some of the Spitz eggs had loose bubble air cells. I candled them and I don't see any rolling now.
