I actually was on a thread with her. It's the Koop Clean thread. Saw the stuff advertised on her website and wanted to check it out. Supposedly she only endorses products that she likes & uses. Anyway, I bought a bag for the big kid brooder and they love it but I have nothing else to compare it to.

She's really nice and helpful, and her website was one of the first I found while googling for answers with my first hatch. I enjoy seeing someone that started as an everyday chicken keeper gain so much notoriety. It really seems like you see her everywhere now. I will give her egg labels a plug. She will print custom egg labels for you, either with her own images, or an image you give her. Her prices are reasonable, she gets them to you quickly, and my customers love the personal touch. I use clear cartons, her labels and mix colors of eggs. It all comes together really nicely

In the old days, you used to be able to buy dyed silkies at the fair. They would inject dye into the eggs, and the chicks would hatch blue, green, pink, whatever. I'm not a fan of it, but it was fairly common for a while. They lost the color as they feathered out

When my family raised new zealand rabbits for meat dad would breed extras around Easter, we'd dye them with food coloring pink, blue, purple and green. Sold out every year.

I cleaned out the garage the other day and came across an old electric cooler (more like a mini fridge) my husband used to use when he drove over the road. The power cords kept burning but I think I can reuse it. Two guesses what I'm thinking of doing with it..

They are cute, but why? Mother Nature makes such beautiful creations on her own!

The dog sculpting and painting is also interesting, and I've seen some beautiful work, but there's that part of me that feels its soooo wrong!

What is ACV? I got this at TSC, I wanted to get some sav-a chick but they were out. This had good reviews though. It has electrolytes and probiotics.
