Speaking of Easter Eggars, I just noticed one, out of the batch I hatched , from someone else (that were not specifically East eggers). Must've been a Easter egger cross.
One of my ee roos from this last hatch is beautiful. Both ees (green eggs) that hatched were a silver/blue and I believe ones a roo and ones a pullet. The alledged roo I have named Christian Gray, because, well, basically he's 50 shades of gray!!! lol See:
My alledged pullet it fairly one shade:
Both are showing the Aracauna tufts. (At least in person you can see them...lol
Here's my EE roo. He hasn't mated in several months, since I got him from my sister in law. I don't have any adult hens right now. Depending on how many hens I introduce, I will probably have to get rid of this guy, or my dark Brahma. But I love them both.

That's because your "dock" side is overly obsessed with the Christian Grey aspect. I think boring is why I find that pullet so pretty. She looks like a purebred Ameraucana

I like them both. I have boring purebreeds and a mixed bag in another pen. They all fascinate me. If I had room I would probably get some LOs, like WVduckchick. Orpingtons are just the perfect bird, and that lavender on them is beautiful
Well, we are 48 hours in. The first 3-4 days are soooo boring!!! There is nothing to see!!! (Last hatch I could see veining as early as day 3 so I'm hoping....) Anyhow, the bator is staying between 99.5-100.5, so I don't even need to play with that. I have candled my 6 allotted eggs, I have not touched the other 18.... I don't know how you hands off hatchers go without candling at all. In another couple days when I know there's growth (well, if I have growth lol) in the others it's going to be really hard not to peek..lol. I so want to know what's going on with everyone..lol (I'm not good at birthdays, or Christmases. I would rather know what happens in a movie before I see it too...lol I just don't do well with not knowing...lol)
This was at set. Color sucks. You can't even tell which are the green ones. I really want a pro camera. Believe it or not there are 4 medium green colored eggs in there. A couple of the eggs I think were a bit small to add, but, there you have it.
I modified my hatch by hurling all the purchased ISA Brown eggs into the garden proactively. I had another stink bomb today and it just wasn't worth risking a full blown environmental disaster.
