Do you guys pull your clears on day 7?  This will be my first time, so I don't really know what I'll find or if I trust my candling skills.

We'll be going out of town for the weekend, (leaving day 8) but I could check the quitters again day 11 when we return.

What do you think?

I've had one stinker and one egg that almost blew up in the turner. Funny enough the one that almost blew up didn't smell until I opened it.

The only stinkers I have ever had were this recent batch of purchased eggs, and I scrapped the whole batch yesterday as there was a new one or two every day. I've had eggs from my flock sitting at room temp for a couple of weeks then incubated and have never had a stinky egg.

Last night at my son's karate class we were informed that he could test for his orange belt tomorrow if we can be there (a neighboring town, about 45 minutes away). He just started karate back in February. That's great and we are going, but, we'll be gone between 3-4 hours. I am not usually away from the house for that long when I have eggs in the incubator. I hope the bator stays constant and no heat spikes. I will say, I haven't had much problems since I got it regulated, I just hope it doesn't choose tonight to go all out of whack.

I have to be able to leave for 3-5 days without an incubator sitter. Amy, maybe it's time to step up to that Brinsea so you can get out of the house a little more!
