She said/He said Who's right? Who's wrong? No one!

I truly believe that some people here on BYC know much more than the helpdesk answering the phone at Brinsea!

Well, there's an art that should be sold not kept till asked, but as you say, if I just put Brinsea in the BYC search engine, and read the 20,000 posts (oops, 50,000, just checked) that came up, I'd know more. Thank you, honestly.

Hmmmm reconsidering my want of the Brinsea.... Haha

I'm sitting outside waiting for the [can't-post-my-expletive here] squirrels to come back! They have chewed off portions of my ducks' feeder and I'm mad! Good gravy! I tried to let them be, as the ducks dont seem to mind them as much as I do, but this tearing up of my equipment is pushing me too far!!

So mad I can't type coherently. Lol

First of all Thank you @AmyLynn2374 for recommending this thread. I have gotten a lot of great feed back about my little crippled chick. I dont plan on breeding him and he doesn't seem to be in pain he just has a balance problem. Other than that he is functioning properly. He was eating when i went to check on him a bit ago. As for the broody hen vs incubator question I dont know. I believe that the hen would do a better job at knowing when they were too warm. And she could just get up and let them set in the heat. Idont really want ro cull him if he is doing alright this far if it comes down to culling I will try to nurse him as best I can till he gets fat. He will be the second barred rock roo I have and I am not breeding so he would be the one to cull because of his leg. I have other breeds that are going to be my "money makers". Being a stay at home mom my chickens are going to be our extra income for a while.

I hope that we hear some positive news in the next couple days with little Tiny Tim.

I also hope you'll feel free to join us in here. We do a lot of cajoling and having fun in between the more serious stuff, but we try to be helpful and we do have some pretty good on topic discussions as well.

Right! me too!

Saw my rooster grabbing ahold of my favorite Dom by the wing and trying to mount her twice today. Since I was outside the run and he was inside the run is this him trying to show she is his?

PS. He's an uncoordinated *#@!

Might explain all the long feathers we've been seeing around.

Mother, there is a ton to be learned from an ailed animal left to its own...they can be amazingly resilient. It might be a teaching point...and then it could be a reason ppl question god....you kinda gotta choose
