The membrane is looking dry and it has been about 24 hours since the breach pip.

That wasn't me being mean Mr. Flock to be funny. That's my philosophy, and the number one reason Amy and I started this thread. Y'all have your ways, I have mine, and we present both sides. The Beatles are my favorite band.....I know who the Indigo Girls are!!!! Lol! Don't judge me!!!
You got a lot of good advice! I just work shell back and slowly stretch the membrane. Until the chick can push itself out or if it can't I roll the egg in my hand and the chick slowly falls out....I leave the chick attached and peek into the shell to see if there is still yolk that needs to be absorbed...if not the chick will rest up and kick free.
Nice post!!!
I too would like to see a picture.
I love the viewing window on that!!! Amazing.
You shut your face!!!!!![]()
If that one's going to hatch, it will have to be assisted, and that's not my thing, so I will step back and watch. Good luckThe membrane is looking dry and it has been about 24 hours since the breach pip.

I didn't know he was. I didn't even know he was thinking about buying an incubator. My sister sent me a pic via text and I went NO!!! He did not buy a Janoel knockoff!!?? Why didn't he talk to me first!!!?? lol
Nope, noting for peachicks. You said early on they were different, and I have no experience. You are, however, reaffirming why I don't want them

I don't know but she sure is pretty.
Personally, with the membranes starting to turn yellowish I would add moisture with a q-tip and consider an assisted hatch if the blood vessels are shrunk and absorbed.
TY very much. I just hope she knows how to reset it....lolOk. The low humidity alarm is AS. Factory default is 45%.
Might as well post them all
AL -low temp alarm
AH -high temp alarm
CA -calibrate the temp sensor
HS - temp high limit
LS - temp low limit
Hope that helps!
You just knew you were gonna get major slapped if you did! Lol
Looks pullet to me too. I have 3, and 2 crests hang down the back much longer than the other 1. Might that indicate 2 girls and a boy?
