She said/He said Who's right? Who's wrong? No one!

Ohhhhhhh yaaaaaa....drinking Jack Black. I did read that. Forgot it. You said Jack Black, my mind went to the actor (whom I do not like) and I was lost...lol

I have always went with the hands off method, unless there is distress involved. Early in incubating eggs my plan was to leave them all. But I got impatient, many had hatched ( I mean a lot) so I viewed the unhatched eggs the best I could and decided way to many chicks and it looked all clear. Unfortunately one was zipping underneath the egg. Everything was going fine and this was in my larger sytro bator so they had room. Since I opened (humidity was 80% due to hatches) I ended up helping the chick hatch. I have the mother nature philosophy, however , this was my fault. So, unless someone is being trampled and suffocated or hatched with yolk not absorbed, I leave it alone.

Now with that said, I did not experiment but I have been pleased with my high hatch rates so, hands off it is (mostly).

These are the birds I am going to try to collect from for my hatch. (Providing they start laying regularly again and are a decent size.) I really have no clue what mix my big roo is. The other is obviously a NN (with a large bow tie...lol). The girls are NN/Aracauna, Polish/Silkie, Silkie, The black I think is a black australorp mix and the white is a silkie/??? mix. (She has 5 toes and feathered feet.)

I'm hoping I get some hatchers because I'm curious to see what this mix will create.
Interesting combo; Skinheads with Cyndi Lauper, you might have to put tattoos on the hybrids to keep track of them.
