Mine would never be anywhere near standard of perfection I too have not looked up things like that. I had a WCB roo last year out of some eggs I got from a breeder. I didn't really give him chance to flourish before moving him on and now wish I had kept him instead of getting the blue splash. All the eggs from the blue splash roo are blue chicks. At least from the silver lace roo pen you get a bit of variety in colour. If only those girls didn't mess with the eggs I could get more of the eggs in the incubator. Some are just beyond even trying to incubate them. They are far more destructive with everything compared to the others.

Your SLs are beautiful. Locally, you see a few ads for SL, GL, and blue, but they always look mixed with something. The crests are just way off, and either too much or too little color. There are some spectacular Tolbunts about an hour from me, but one color of Polish is enough for me

I think most of the cochins were either not fertile or stopped developing really early. Hard to tell. It will be interesting to see if any get through lockdown...
I've also got two incubators with mailed egg-Welsummers and bantam silkies. I'm not getting my hopes up at all with these, as the air cells aren't looking normal... I really want the Welsummers as they are my favorite eggs to photograph and the hens are easy and lay pretty regularly .

My bantams usually show up early, too, but I've never had any experience with cochins. Did they develop and quit, or just infertile?

I just meant Standard of Perfection, as in show quality. I haven't read up on it. I just know that my roo looks better to me than many pics of others I have seen, but I am a little biased

He does look evil My NN roo (which is my dom roo) has turned into quite the jerk. He's very protective, which is good, but he is an arrogant little (thing I can't say here). He pretty much has learned not to come after me, all I have to do now is raise my voice, but he will go after others. If I can get a decent nn roo (hopefully a clean neck one) this guy will probably become someones supper...not mine, but he will be outta here!

I figured the "F" in French was capatolized and the "f" in luck

wasn't. But now that he said luck I can definitely make it out as an "l". Darn script writing...lol
