She said/He said Who's right? Who's wrong? No one!

Also, this really is addicting. I'm already planning a new batch for mid- next week. I want some straight RIR's and I might buy a dozen black and splash Blue Laced Red-Wyondettes, and they also claim to have true black and splash Ameraucanas, maybe I'll do a half dozen of each. Why is it so hard to find straight RIR's in Rhode Island?!

I want the Tolbunt Polish. My husband says I need to learn to hatch eggs before I attempt an $85/dozen breed

Very pretty! Both the daughter and the chick!

I'll warn you, when they lose that pretty little fuzzy fur, and their big-girl feathers start growing in.... they are almost scary looking for a few days LOL But still adorable.

I took these last night. These guys are almost 4 weeks.

They are so gorgeous!

Coleson is going to be so mad. We're catching him...
LOL. I thought about that earlier...lol

I want some Tolbunt.....lol It's always good to get a couple low cost hatches under your belt before spending the big bucks...lol I saw where someone bought "rare" birds for their first hatch. I cringed. I never did find out if any hatched.

Thank you! My two year old is learning to handle them. I'm a nervous wreck, that's my oldest she's five so she's a bit better. My two year old just tries to grab at them! Yours are beautiful! I've read that when they lose the fuzz some people thought they were sick during the transition. But thanks for the tip, I'll remind myself that it's normal if they look scary for a few days, lol! My next learning challenge in a few weeks will be to learn sexing, or early signs of a pullet or roo.
