I just won some turkey eggs and bcm eggs on ebay. They were a package deal. I will be putting them in my brinsea when they arrive. I was wondering if I should invest in another incubator to use as a hatcher as they will be hatching at different times. If you think I should what would you recommend as I am on a budget. That brinsea was rather steep. I appreciate all advice. Thank you.

You have a Brinsea? I would try to get a second incubator if I were you. Luckily, you'll have almost 3 weeks to get that in place. Can you check around and see if there's anyone you know who has an incubator they would loan you? What about your school district? Incubation is part of the science curriculum in almost all of the lower grades. And once they're done with that unit, the bators go back on the shelves. Can you wire a light bulb with instructions? If you can, you can build an incubator. It's a fairly easy project and could be done in an afternoon. You'll need a couple of 40 W bulbs, a styro-foam or plastic cooler. (some folks even use 2 cardboard boxes nestled together and insulated in the middle with newspaper!) Some glass, a thermostat, and hopefully a computer fan and a 12 W converter. (like a cell phone charger thingie) You'll also need some hardware cloth to protect the chicks from the bulbs and fan. Rush Lane Poultry has some wonderful tutorials about how to make an incubator. He will talk you through the entire process, with video footage all the way!

They look nice and snugly...lol

Probably overkill, but hey that's me lol

Yes I do! Hubby loves telling the story of me shooting my 9mm for the first time. Shooting at empty shotguns shells at about 25 feet. I was an inch or two away and I was mad! Lol

And, that's exactly why you don't smack WV.  Grab a gun, Amy, and learn to shoot!  Every self respecting girl needs to be able to handle a weapon!

Thank you dear! I agree!

You could set the turkey eggs first, then the BCMs but I guess shipping is already going to delay them so that would make the BCMs maybe too old, unless they are shipped out really really fresh. But its a thought!

Lazy gardeners ideas are great though!
