She said/He said Who's right? Who's wrong? No one!

I can imagine! I touched my cheek (habaneros also) and wow! I ran straight to the bathroom sink and rinsed and rinsed. It was red but didn't blister. And if I remember right, I was wearing gloves and had removed them but not washed may hands.
Yikes. Yeah, I think she'd been wearing gloves too.

I used serranos in the second batch. I chopped them up a lot finer so the bite shouldn't be too bad.

I don't wear gloves when chopping peppers, and usually regret it when I forget later.

So a candling question: I have one egg that has a really dark area that does not move, but I can see the chick moving below it. Almost looks like some blood vessels dried up or I even considered maybe it was a twin that died already. Basically looks like the start of the eyes, when you can first see them. But it looks stuck in its spot, up attached to the air cell. Not sure what to think of it. Will try to get a pic next time I candle it. Any thoughts?
