She said/He said Who's right? Who's wrong? No one!

That just means you are right for once

Just to be clear, that was tongue in cheek. I'm not mad, and not trying to belittle you. I'm just being me

Mainly inshore with our boat. Its a 21 ft bay boat. He wants to do offshore charters for cobia, snapper, mahi mahi but we need to get a bigger boat or lease a big boat for a charter like that.
I bought a 27 footer a few years ago. Biggest financial mistake of my life. Unless you are making a living with one, or fishing every week, it's cheaper for everyday fishermen to charter offshore. No bull reds is A-OK with my. I prefer slot fish. I catch and release... straight into peanut oil

I have only caught 2 mahi in my life, and I could do that every day and never get bored. The fish are gorgeous, and nothing is better on the grill. Cobia are very good, too, but mahi are to die for

My Hubby makes some killer ceviche with Cobia. Never tried it with Mahi Mahi. But he does make an awesome cashew encrusted Mahi Mahi that's to die for. We like our boat. We try and fish once a week if not twice. Or we go to an island and spend the day just swimming or shell hunting and hanging out.

I've never even heard of any of these forums! I guess once I found "incubating and hatching", I was home. Lol. ~~~~~ All of my babies are still in the incubators!! I'm to worried about hurting the other pips!! But I don't feel comfortable leaving a baby longer then 24 hours. So by 3pm, my little fluffies will meet the brooder. Also, like SC said, I don't want to slow down the hatch either. I've got 4 babies, 4 pips, and 4 eggs doing nothing! There's still hope for the unpipped eggs, right?

Mahi is one of my favorites. My brother caught the bigger one and I got the smaller Mahi and a barracuda. Barracuda is also delicious eating.

If you are over the age of 17 it's a little...

You are at the point that I would be considering taking chicks out. If the other pips hatch, that is when I would move them, and my last few eggs usually pip and hatch on day 22-23, but they look a little more distressed by the time they make it out. That's another big difference between myself and Amy. She would candle and test the remaining eggs to see if the chicks were still alive. I toss everything after day 23. Neither way is right or wrong. it's whatever you are comfortable doing. Amy would prefer to know she gave the chicks every chance she could, I would rather not take the chance of having problemed chicks that had to be culled later

Speaking of being in a help forum... After my stress yesterday about incubator temperatures, I ran across a "scientific lab" type of incubator. Its for growing cultures and such. The one that I found is an awesome deal on a very expensive machine, had been used once in a school project. I tried searching for folks who had tried something similar on BYC but didn't have much luck.
Opinions anyone? (I have already verified that temperature would not be a problem. The thing's range is like 35-145F)
