wow you start early WV my hatch is almost over I guess only four have hatched one didn't make it. three others doing ok three more eggs still alive but not holding my breath for them not a good hatch at all .I'm going to have to take care not to forget my fan's again . but I had a great fathers day my son and daughter grilled steak for me .I didn't have to cook or go get food it was great My daughter in-law made me a key lime pie I'm in heaven. still behind on the thread I'll catch tonight. It's hard to jump in to this thread when you jump to a page it starts wit a Quote that makes no sense to a crazy man. and even if I can't remember what I read I still have to read it. so I'll post this and go catch up again. so tomorrow I can be behind again.

Hatch pretty much done

26/27 hatched, the last egg not showing any signs of action. Number 26 just out so once it's dry will move the last 4 into brooder with others and give the last egg a quick candle. Maybe it's just being a slow coach

Lots more colours this time and a couple I would really like to keep but will have to see, can I really add any more

Well, I just found out some black faced hornets built a nest under the shed rafters. Trouble is I found out the hard way. Got stung several times in the face and eyelid, I have a history of allergic reactions to stings. Gonna lay low and ice it and hope that a trip to the hospital isn't necessary.

Awesome timing, with 25 people coming for dinner tomorrow. At least they are family. It's also my 29th anniversary, so no dinner out for at least a few days so I don't look like a horror movie character.

That really is terrible. Hopefully you were able to treat it before you got to horror movie range.

Another happy hatch!

I brought all the new babies out for a playdate. And had to share my proud mommy pics!

Love the picture of the four stooges. I'm getting jealous of all you hatchers. My birds need to mature so I can have baby peeps!

Feeling pretty accomplished. I got my fencing up so my run is complete. Let the teenagers out for a little fun. Took a while before they would all come out, but eventually they all made it out and were enjoying themselves.

We finally got the rest of the apron down on around our coop and buried it. Even opened the door and tried to entice the flock to come down the ramp to get meal worms. Some got bold enough to try to get the meal worms I sprinkled on the treads. They would make it down the ramp halfway but that was it. Outside must have been far too scary.

How odd considering I have two that try to angle around me when I open the people door and refill the food. You had a chance at freedom today, you idiots.

Well the shipped bcms did not hatch. They were all Scrambled. Through them out this morning. At least the turkey eggs have signs of life, but have saddled air çells. 28 days will be Saturday. I need some luck.

What kind of babies are these?

I love the fuzzy feet and "pantaloons". I have a few Easter Eggers hatched from my little flock that have fuzzy legs and fluffy butts. I'm hoping they will be broody hens because I can just imagine a few turkey poults sticking their heads out from under their wings.

Those are the cutest little fuzzy feet. Second duckling is working his way out, it is at beak level lol mutt duck is just been moved to the brooder, getting around well, keeps trying to escape and come out. It has bonded to me

I have babies. My poults hatched last night don't know how many I saw 3 but didn't move mama. That is a French blue marans she helped off and on during the setting process and looks like she has stolen a pair for herself
