She said/He said Who's right? Who's wrong? No one!

I don't act like me on that thread

Classic!!! Love it!!! :gig

 X 2.  I thought it was kind of creepy/hilarious!

Ouch!  Hope your finger heals well, and doesn't hurt too much.  Did they make you get a tetanus shot?  I hate those things!

Yes, they did! Actually they made me get a dTap, which is like 3 vaccines in one (I'm not a huge fan of vaccines) and when I asked why they didn't just give me tetanus they said "because your insurance will pay for it"...that made me feel all warm & cozy. ;)

It was nice being friends..... lol

Hope it heals fast!!  I saw the rabbit video and shared it yesterday on FB. Unfortunetly I think she was too late to save a couple of them, but it is awesome. I just can't believe someone was taping it instead of saving the bunnies to begin with. I would have been out there fighting off teh snake myself....lol  There was another one a while back too that was cool with a rabbit and a snake:
Gives you a whole new respect for the rabbits lol

That's just not right. lol

You're right! I would have been hitting the snake with a broom! LOL. I had this rabbit once that was like the satan geese you were talking about before. She was not prey...she was pure predator!! Just like the video you posted!

I fool myself into not thinking about the negative financial balance. I think about the experience and learning positive balance.

That's how I 'diet' too. I don't count carbs/fat/calories/steps. Everything has a plus minus on it. If I have a salad for lunch ( - ) I can certainly drink a whole bottle of wine and eat half a cheesecake ( + ). The end result is a o, so neutral!

If you cut any treat in half, it allows the calories to evaporate out of the middle. So, you can eat 1/2 now, and come back 5 minutes later. the net result is that you have allowed calorie evaporation, plus the extra exercise of walking away, and walking all the way back again. all good, yes? Especially, if it's dark chocolate.

This will make you feel more awkward.

I would use whatever I had on hand. I would think they are about the same. The only other thing I would check first is the free listings on craigs list to see if there are any broken mini fridges on there. That would be great.

Rabbits are pretty easy. Especially if your daughter takes care of them.

That is an awesome rabbit.

That is a brave rabbit. I didn't know they defender their young.

That is a great looking tomato!
I wouldn't have them, unless I planned on eating them, and if my Grand daughter took care of them, I doubt she'd be too keen on eating them. Though she did like to watch when we butchered chickens. Had to keep pushing her away cause she was hanging her nose over the table. "What's that, Grammy???"

This idea works as well. And make no mistake I won't actually cut the cheesecake in half. I'll eat it straight out of the container and end up stopping somewhere between 1/2 and 5/8 and save the rest for later.

BTW. I did my first 'put the chickens to bed' thing. Apparently that means make them fly into the fence avoiding the grabby hands while crawling under the coop. At least they didn't come back outside after I put them to bed. I'd be ******.

LOL That's funny.

Im now Up to post 2900,
I set 18 eggs for that hatch
15 got to lockdown.
those 2 hatched day 24.
12 were shipped eggs.
all but 3 looked like this when opened.
The other 3 were scrambled or blood ringed
1 piped but down into the incubator floor so it never zipped.

These are the 2 more recently at about 18 weeks old

One is a pure RIR (one of the shipped eggs) the other is a barnyard mix from my flock.
The Incubator was the cheap Chinese octagon 60 I mentioned earlier.

I am currently waiting for Zorrow to lay some eggs to put in another batch, this time with a thermometer and hygrometer.

I commend you for going back and reading so much of this thread! (and still sticking around! LOL) I'm sure you can see we get a little silly, but can be serious too. So I'm glad you're here!

Day 24 hatches usually mean temps too low. Development is delayed, but growth was good, so they just weren't able to finish. New thermometer and hygrometer, tested for accuracy, should help you solve that problem. Best of luck, and I'll be waiting to see what Zorrow produces for you!
