She said/He said Who's right? Who's wrong? No one!

lol I just don't have it in me to kill cute and furry. I don't have an issue with feathered but cute and furry makes me feel bad to think of as food. I loved my bunnies, they were angoras and miss them terribly.
Yeah!! I would also have a hard time killing something fluffy! Now.....if it were meant for eating I could do it to survive but why would I want to now.

My dad raised new zealand bunnies for meat and after it was no longer furry I didn't have an issue with it but for me I can't imagine myself killing a bunny. Of course I can't imagine killing a furry cow either. Furry things are my weakness. I blame my mother .

HAHAHAH!!!! My hubby and I can hunt and actually kill wild rabbits...however, when it comes to pets..that's another story. I can and would kill chickens esp if I had too many roosters. But My hubby being the sensitive, tenderhearted man for animals, I don't I sell them.

I've never hunted wild rabbits, but have seen an over-abundance of them lately, so I might have to take that up! We have hunted wild turkey too, but after hatching my little turkey baby, I didn't go turkey hunting this spring. Might take me another season to do that again! lol

My hubby said we are going to have the first farm where all the animals die of old age!

Here are some pics finally caught her out walking around with her babies she hatched 3

Super cute!
But They are Soo tasty- a good crumbed rabbit comes out tasting like a less oily version of KFC.
You can use rabbit meat in any chicken recipe
I do like rabbit. I think it tastes like turkey. But these little fluff balls are 2-3 pounds max. For pure cuteness. I would eat a NZ rabbit in a heartbeat, but I also hunt furry things and they are delicious.

Thats how ours is...! LoL!!! We rescue, and sell and if we like them we keep them until they die. Even if they do not lay eggs. So once a pet always a pet.

lol ah the first off all new animals, unless they suck so much you hate them, are often terribly hard to want to let go of. The mutt duck, if it's a boy, I've already considered making it a house duck lol It was the first I've ever hatched so I wanna keep it. Plan on trying to sell all the rouens that hatch.

I just got off the phone with a guy that hatched over 9,000 eggs last year.

Uses sportsman incubators and charges folks $1 an egg. Says he hatches all year long. That's cool.
